Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra - nope

I wish I had better news on this one. The S25 ultra continues to be an amazing powerhouse of a device, yet for those sensitive to flickering this display is not good. I do however like the matte anti reflective coating and it seems to help a bit with eye strain which is a step in the right direction. Now if they can only get that flicker and modulation under control.

As we see above it is basically the same as the 24 ultra. The frequency is decent at 492, but that modulation is almost at 100%, which is gonna hurt your eyes.

We can see at the 75% mark and 50% mark we have about the same frequency of 492hz and 96% to 97% modulation, which is very very high.

And lastly at 25% we still have the 492hz frequency and an even higher 99.5% modulation. I tested this a number of times as I do all the phones to be sure the numbers I was getting were consistent. As good as a phone as this is, I cannot recommend it for those with sensitive eyes.
